Assistant Director Of Project Management

The Assistant Director of Project Management is responsible for assisting the Director of Project Management in managing all aspects of accounts and customers. Assists in executing the established vision and in the attainment of business objectives. Directly responsible for project managers and team members in their respective business units. National Sales Executive – Lighting Upgrades

We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our growing team! The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing leads and sales for our Lighting Upgrade business unit, as directed by the VP of Sales and Marketing. This individual will be responsible for a defined geographic territory east of the Mississippi River. Duties include direct responsibility for achieving established sales targets as well as working with the VP of Sales and Marketing and the InSite Group team to develop and implement an annual sales/marketing plan for the business unit. Activities will include prospecting, quoting, assurance of customer satisfaction and customer retention. Relocation is not required. Travel is required.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree Preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in business to business sales, preferably in lighting upgrade or project management environment
  • Experience in exterior lighting and/or sign industry related sales

  • Experience in Display, POP, Digital, Fixture and related installation sales preferred.
  • Direct selling experience to retailers, hospitality, financial and QSR verticals is a must.

The Project Manager position is responsible for coordinating and/or expediting construction and field related activities for external and internal customers. Responsibility will often include the lead role on specific customer accounts and high profile projects for field related resources and activities. Has overall project responsibility as it relates to installation and costing objectives.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in construction related field dealing with subcontractors.
  • 3-5 years plus experience in the construction field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient PC skills to include MS Word and Excel. Very familiar with PC workstation systems.
  • Proficient problem solving skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
  • Adherence to project schedules ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Development of sub-contractors networks nationally in areas of weak coverage.
  • Qualification of all sub-contractors including customer preferred.
  • Maintaining and enforcing all sub-contractor documentation (Insurance, W9's, etc…).
  • Selection of all sub-contractors per project site basis.
  • Provide and submit approved construction/installation costs matrix to installers.
  • Conduct contractual language updates and reviews of Field Service Purchase Orders.
  • Review & Establish Scope of Work packets for sub-contractors.
  • Review & Approval of Technical Surveys.

  • Set initial expectations of sub-contractors working on projects.
